Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. peaches, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place dry ingredients in mixing bowl; stir to combine.
  2. Beat egg, then stir in milk.
  3. Add melted butter or margarine to the milk and egg mixture.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  5. Stir in chopped peaches.
  6. Fry the batter on a hot skillet or griddle until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve topped with margarine and a sprinkle of sugar.
