Ingredients

  • 1 cup oleo
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl with a mixer at medium speed, beat oleo, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. At low speed, beat in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
  4. Place the balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
