Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of sea salt to the caramel mixture. If you don't have pecans, walnuts or almonds can be a suitable substitute. Make sure to use fresh marshmallows for the best texture. To speed up the chilling process, you can place the dish in the freezer for about an hour before serving.

Serving Suggestions

These Pecan-Caramel Cream Squares are delightful on their own but can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for added indulgence. Pair them with a cup of coffee or tea for a perfect afternoon treat. They also make a wonderful addition to a dessert platter alongside other sweets like Twix Cookie.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you want to keep them longer, you can freeze them. To reheat, let them thaw in the fridge overnight and serve chilled or at room temperature. Avoid microwaving, as it may alter the texture.
