Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 3 vegetable bouillon cubes
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook onion and celery in butter until tender.
  2. Blend in peanut butter.
  3. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; add to peanut butter mixture gradually, blending well after each addition.
  4. Stir in lemon juice; heat to serving temperature.
