Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 oz. jar pineapple preserves
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese in a bowl and cream until soft and smooth.
  2. Blend in sugar and salt; add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly.
  3. Mix in milk and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Spread pineapple preserves over the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture over the preserves.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the cheese mixture.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F and bake for an additional 50 minutes.
