Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shredded cabbage
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Instructions

  1. Combine shredded cabbage, chopped green pepper, and chopped onion in a large bowl.
  2. Combine sugar, vegetable oil, dry mustard, salt, and celery seed in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Pour the hot mixture over the cabbage mixture.
  4. Stir well to coat all vegetables evenly.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
