Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 large cans chunk pineapple
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 bunch scallions
  • 3 Tbsp peanut oil
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Add some water to the cornstarch; stir into a paste and set aside.
  2. Heat a wok and add the peanut oil.
  3. Add the ginger, garlic, and chicken to the wok; fry for a while.
  4. Add soy sauce, white wine, and 1 teaspoon of sugar to the wok.
  5. Fry for a while, then cover the wok and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Uncover the wok and fry a little more.
  7. Add the pineapple to the wok and fry a little more.
  8. Add the remaining sugar and cook for 30 seconds.
  9. Add the scallions and fry for a while.
  10. Finally, add the paste and cook for a few seconds until the paste is cooked.
