Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (13 1/4 oz.)
  • 2 1/4 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted oleo
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice

Instructions

  1. Drain the crushed pineapple and set aside.
  2. Combine biscuit mix, honey, melted oleo, egg, milk, and apple pie spice in a bowl and stir well until blended.
  3. Add 1/2 of the drained pineapple to the mixture and blend together.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
  5. Cover the batter with the remaining pineapple mixed with 1/4 cup oleo and 1/3 cup honey.
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
