Ingredients

  • 12 oz. vanilla wafers
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Combine butter and sugar and beat until light.
  2. Add beaten egg yolks and drained crushed pineapple to the mixture.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
  4. Roll wafers to crumbs and add crushed pecans.
  5. Layer crumbs then fruit, alternating, with crumbs on top.
  6. Refrigerate overnight.
  7. Serve with whipped cream.
