Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
  • vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Pour the mixture into a boiler and cook until thickened.
  3. In an oblong pan, layer pudding mixture and vanilla wafers alternately.
  4. Whip the whites from 6 eggs to make meringue and spread on top of the assembled pie.
