Ingredients

- 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits ⓘ

- 1/4 cup golden raisins ⓘ
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise ⓘ
- 1 head shredded cabbage or 1 lb cole slaw mix ⓘ
- 1 bunch chopped green onions
- 1 stalk chopped celery ⓘ
- 2 cups slivered or sliced almonds
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. sunflower seeds ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. sugar ⓘ
- 1/2 cup salad oil ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine shredded cabbage, pineapple tidbits, chopped green onions, chopped celery, golden raisins, and toasted almonds in a large bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, salad oil, sugar, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and salt to make the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well to combine.
- At the last minute, add crushed raw ramen noodles to the slaw and toss again.
- Optional: Add cooked chicken to make it a main dish.
