Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple and juice

Instructions

  1. Mix together the crushed pineapple and juice, sugar, beaten eggs, soda, flour, rum, and chopped walnuts until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
