Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cups soft white bread crumbs (remove crust)
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup half and half
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream together the margarine or butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and mix well.
  3. Add crushed pineapple, half and half, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the bread crumbs.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 10-inch casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until golden and set.
