Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tall can crushed pineapple (do not drain)

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Pour all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly by hand.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Alternatively, pour into an 11 x 16-inch cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
