Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) can pink salmon
  • 1/3 cup grated onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Drain the salmon and reserve 1/4 cup of the liquid.
  2. In a bowl, combine the drained salmon, egg, and grated onion.
  3. Add the flour to the mixture and stir well.
  4. Mix the reserved salmon liquid with the baking powder and add to the salmon mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Form the mixture into patties.
  6. Fry the patties in hot Crisco until golden brown and cooked through. Serve hot.
