Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. pinto beans
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1 can chili sauce or 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1 lb. wieners
  • 1 green pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pinto beans using your usual method.
  2. Saute hamburger, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper until the meat loses its red color.
  3. Combine cooked pinto beans with other ingredients in a slow cooker or large pot, excluding wieners.
  4. Cook at low temperature until about done.
  5. Add wieners and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
