- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix melted margarine, 3 Tbsp. sugar, and flour; press into a 9x13 inch cake pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and half of the cool whip until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
- In a separate bowl, mix pudding mix with milk until set, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining cool whip over the pudding layer.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, if desired.
