Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tub cool whip
  • 2 small pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix melted margarine, 3 Tbsp. sugar, and flour; press into a 9x13 inch cake pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and half of the cool whip until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix pudding mix with milk until set, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Spread the remaining cool whip over the pudding layer.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, if desired.
