Ingredients

  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 pound pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the sub rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  3. Cook sausage and hamburger in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms, green peppers, and pizza sauce to the meat mixture; cook until vegetables are tender.
  5. Spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly inside the sub rolls.
  6. Top each with pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place the stuffed rolls on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then serve hot.
