Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 packets yeast
  • flour

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine margarine and milk and warm over low heat.
  2. Add sugar and salt; pour the mixture into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add yeast and stir until dissolved.
  4. Gradually add enough flour to form a handleable dough.
  5. Return dough to the mixing bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
  6. Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and cut into dinner-sized rolls.
  7. Place the rolls on baking sheets and let rise until doubled in size.
  8. Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
  9. Brush the hot rolls with melted margarine before serving.
