Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Put the first seven ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Make a hole in the center.
  2. Add eggs, cooking oil, pumpkin, and vanilla into the hole.
  3. Mix well until combined.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of nuts.
  5. Pour the batter into 2 to 3 greased and floured loaf pans.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
