Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana until pureed.
  2. Mix in enough powdered sugar to form a stiff dough.
  3. Roll out half of the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Spread a thick layer of peanut butter almost to the edges of the rectangle.
  5. Roll the rectangle tightly from the long edge to create a pinwheel log.
  6. Wrap the log in wax paper and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  7. Slice the log into 1/4-inch thick pieces from the ends.
  8. Sample the ends of the log to make sure it's not poison, as the recipe whimsically suggests.
