Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine softened butter or margarine, sugar, vanilla, chopped pecans, and all-purpose flour; mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes, being careful not to overbake.
  4. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
  5. Roll each cookie ball in powdered sugar until coated.
