Ingredients

  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Beat all ingredients together and pour into a greased cake pan.
  2. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. The cake will turn a dark brown color when done.
  4. Test the cake with a toothpick to ensure doneness.
