Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage and ground meat separately and drain well.
  2. Mix the cooked meats with remaining ingredients until the cheese melts.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture until chilled.
  4. Spread on rye bread and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.
  5. Alternatively, heat and serve with crackers or party bread.
