Ingredients

  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 8 oz ketchup
  • 2 lb ground chopped meat
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 2 spoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1 can light-colored kidney beans
  • 1 loaf French bread

Instructions

  1. Pour tomato soup and 1 can of water into a large pot.
  2. Brown the ground meat; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add the browned meat to the soup and let it simmer.
  4. Cut the onion, celery, and green pepper into small pieces and add them to the soup and meat.
  5. Add ketchup and spicy brown mustard into the mixture.
  6. Stir well and simmer for about 2 hours.
  7. Drain the kidney beans well and add them to the mixture.
  8. Simmer for an additional 30 minutes and serve.
