Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 24 ounces frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Brown the pork chops in a lightly greased skillet.
  2. Sprinkle the chops with seasoned salt and set aside.
  3. Mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, pepper, and seasoned salt in a bowl.
  4. Stir in the frozen hash brown potatoes, half the shredded Cheddar cheese, and half the can of French fried onions.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  6. Arrange the browned pork chops over the potato mixture.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the foil, top with the remaining cheese and fried onions.
  9. Bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts and onions are crispy.
