Ingredients

  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 6 to 8 lean pork chops
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the pork chops to taste.
  2. Combine the chops, chopped onion, and chopped bell pepper in a large skillet.
  3. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the chops are lightly browned.
  4. Pour off excess grease from the skillet.
  5. Add the canned stewed tomatoes, garlic powder, chili powder, sugar, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  6. Cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour or until the chops are tender.
