Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 large potatoes
  • 1/4 small onion
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Pare the potatoes and cut them into French fry size pieces.
  2. Combine the grated potatoes with the chopped onion, milk, beaten eggs, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow baking pan.
  5. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
