Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Polish sausage
  • 4 servings instant mashed potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. green onions
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut the sausage pieces lengthwise almost through to the bottom and spread open.
  2. Place the cut sausage pieces, open side up, in an ungreased baking dish.
  3. Prepare the instant mashed potatoes according to package instructions, then stir in chopped green onions and mustard.
  4. Spread the mashed potato mixture over the sausage pieces and sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
