Crispy, breaded chicken breasts filled with ham and Swiss cheese, baked in butter and white wine for a rich, savory dish perfect for elegant dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of ham
  • fine cracker crumbs
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Dip each chicken breast in beaten eggs.
  2. Place one slice of Swiss cheese and one slice of ham in the center of each breast.
  3. Roll the chicken breasts tightly, securing with toothpicks or string if needed.
  4. Roll each chicken roll in finely crushed cracker crumbs.
  5. Place the prepared chicken rolls in a pan.
  6. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of butter and 1/4 cup of white wine over all the chicken breasts.
  7. Bake until cooked through and golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
