Ingredients

  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 3 c. unsifted flour
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat for 10 minutes with electric beater on high speed.
  2. Pour batter into an ungreased tube pan.
  3. Do not preheat oven.
  4. Put in cold oven.
  5. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
