Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened applesauce
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Grease or spray a cake pan thoroughly.
  2. Pour in sweetened applesauce into the prepared pan.
  3. Add crushed pineapple on top of the applesauce.
  4. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the pineapple.
  5. Sprinkle coconut over the cake mix.
  6. Pour melted butter over the coconut layer.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
  8. Do not stir; leave the layers as is before baking.
