Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  3. Beat together sugar, brown sugar, oleo, and eggs.
  4. Stir in sour milk.
  5. Combine dry ingredients and stir into sugar mixture.
  6. Stir in vanilla.
  7. Pour boiling water over batter and stir in.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  10. Ice with chocolate icing.
