Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 small pkg. strawberry jello

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed pretzels and sugar, then add melted margarine to form the crust. Press into a dish and refrigerate.
  2. Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then fold in Cool Whip.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust.
  4. Dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water, then add strawberries with syrup. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Refrigerate until set, then garnish with nuts before serving.
