Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 10 oz Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix melted margarine, flour, and chopped nuts and pat out thin in a pan.
  2. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
  3. Allow the crust to cool completely.
  4. Cream together powdered sugar, cream cheese, and Cool Whip until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  6. Prepare the chocolate pudding according to the package instructions and beat until firm.
  7. Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.
  8. Spread Cool Whip over the chocolate pudding layer.
  9. Sprinkle the top with chopped nuts for garnish.
