Ingredients

  • 1 (13 oz.) can milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (13 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Combine the milk, beaten eggs, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into an 11 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  4. Slice the margarine or butter and distribute it over the top of the cake mix.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes until set and golden.
  6. Serve warm or cooled, topped with whipped cream if desired.
