Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 German cake mix
  • 12 oz cream cheese
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 1 lb powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Put chopped nuts and flaked coconut in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Mix the German cake mix as directed on the package.
  4. Pour the prepared cake batter over the nuts and coconut in the pan.
  5. Mix cream cheese, melted margarine, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Pour or spoon the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
