Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 5 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients until just moist.
  2. Fill greased muffin pans 3/4 full.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes at 400°F.
  4. Makes 12 muffins.
  5. Optionally, add 1 cup of chopped apples to the batter before baking.
