Ingredients

  • Southwest Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Pico de Gallo
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1-2 teaspoon diced jalapenos
  • 1/8 cup fresh cilantro (diced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Mexi-Ranch Dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 teaspoons minced tomato
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced canned jalapeno slices (nacho slices)
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion

Instructions

  1. Southwest Seasoning Mix:
  2. Combine all ingredients and use to season hamburger.
  3. Pico de Gallo:
  4. Combine Pico de Gallo ingredients in a small bowl with lid and place in refrigerator
  5. Mexi-Ranch Dressing:
  6. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well until
  7. smooth. Cover and chill it until needed.
  8. Southwest Seasoned Burger
  9. Preheat barbecue or indoor grill to medium heat.
  10. Shape ground beef into a patties Sprinkle a bit of the seasoning blend over both sides of each patty. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until the patty is cooked the way you like it.
