Ingredients

  • 1 tube can biscuits
  • shortening for frying
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat shortening in a deep fat fryer or electric skillet.
  2. Open the tube of biscuits and make a hole in the center of each biscuit with your fingers.
  3. Fry the biscuits in hot fat, turning to brown on each side.
  4. Drain the doughnuts on paper towels.
