Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 3/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 1/3 cups diced celery
  • 2 cups sliced fresh string beans
  • 3 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 can pitted and chopped olives
  • 1/4 cup canned milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook fresh vegetables in oil until tender.
  2. Combine all ingredients and pour into an oiled casserole dish.
  3. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
