Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh green peppers
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (28 oz) can tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried crushed rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine frozen or fresh chopped onions, green peppers, and 1/4 cup water.
  2. Bring the mixture to boiling, then reduce heat to simmer.
  3. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the canned tomatoes, garlic, dried rosemary, paprika, and pepper to the saucepan.
  5. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  6. Add the frozen peeled and deveined shrimp to the mixture.
  7. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
