Quick Garlic Cubed Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp finely snipped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic put through a garlic press or minced fine
  • 6 beef cubed steaks
  • 6 1-inch thick slices of French bread cut diagonally & toasted on grill

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan melt butter and stir in Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley & garlic.
  2. Brush butter mixture on both sides of steaks.
  3. Place steaks in a wire grill basket.
  4. Grill over hot coals for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Turn basket over and grill for 1 to 2 minutes more.
  6. Season steaks with salt & pepper.
  7. Place each steak atop a toasted bread slice.
  8. Spoon remaining butter mixture over steaks.
  9. Makes 6 servings.
