Meat Sauce(Spaghetti Sauce)

- 9 cloves garlic ⓘ
- 3 large onion ⓘ
- 3 green peppers
- 3 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 3 cans tomato paste (12 oz.) ⓘ
- 3 cans tomato sauce (1 lb. 3 oz.) ⓘ
- 2 c. hot water ⓘ
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. garlic salt ⓘ
- 1 tsp. chili powder ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. paprika ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. oregano ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. sage ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. A.1. sauce ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. chili sauce ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onions, chopped green peppers (if using), and minced garlic; cook until vegetables are tender.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, and hot water.
- Add celery salt, garlic salt, chili powder, salt, paprika, oregano, parsley flakes, and sage.
- Mix in Worcestershire sauce, A.1. sauce, and chili sauce.
- Simmer uncovered for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, to develop flavors.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve hot over cooked pasta.
