Quick garlic toast features crispy bread topped with garlic, parmesan, and butter, perfect as an appetizer or snack for garlic lovers and cheese enthusiasts.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 12 slices bread
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Cut each slice in half and place plain side down on a baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan cheese.
  4. Broil 4 inches from heat for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Alternatively, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  6. Butter both sides of each bread piece.
  7. Bake one side for approximately 8 minutes, then flip and bake the other side for about 5 minutes.
