Ingredients

  • 1 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • pinch of pepper
  • pinch of garlic
  • 1 medium onion, cut into rings
  • 1 lb. small white mushrooms, cleaned

Instructions

  1. Mix red wine vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper, and garlic together with a whisk.
  2. Slowly add salad oil while continuing to whisk.
  3. Mix until the dressing is well combined and doesn't separate.
  4. Add the onion rings and white mushrooms to the dressing.
  5. Let marinate for 24 hours before serving.
  6. Serve with toothpicks.
