Tips & Substitutions

For a crunchier texture, consider toasting the oats slightly before mixing them with the other ingredients. You can substitute the margarine with coconut oil for a vegan version or use butter for a richer flavor. Feel free to add or replace dried fruits like cranberries or figs based on your preference. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey to suit your taste.

Serving Suggestions

Enjoy this Honey Nut Granola as a breakfast cereal with milk or yogurt, or as a topping for smoothie bowls. It pairs beautifully with Raspberry Carousel Salad for a nutritious lunch. You can also use it as a snack straight from the jar or mixed with fresh fruit for a delightful treat any time of the day.

Storage & Reheating

Once completely cooled, store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. If you want it to last longer, you can refrigerate it, which can extend its freshness for about a month. For reheating, simply spread it out on a baking sheet and warm in the oven at 300°F for a few minutes to restore crunchiness.
