Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Quick Mix
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or water
  • 2 cups peeled, cored and grated apples
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Quick Mix, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs and milk or water to the dry ingredients.
  4. Blend well for 1 minute, then add grated apples and blend for 2 more minutes.
  5. Stir in raisins and chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
