Ingredients

  • 12 new potatoes
  • 1 cup American cheese, grated
  • 1 can cream of celery soup or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until they are done.
  2. Slice the potatoes very thin.
  3. Place the sliced potatoes in a 2-quart casserole or a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Alternate layers of potatoes, grated cheese, and soup mixture, adding milk, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Top the casserole with more grated cheese and sprinkle with parsley.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
