Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1 lb uncooked fresh medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 c grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp and chopped onion to the skillet.
  3. Cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are light pink.
  4. Add chopped fresh basil or dried basil leaves; mix well.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp before serving.
